By registering and submitting payment for a Spring Madness Sim Racing event, you agree to the following refund policy.
Entry Fees
All entry fees are non-refundable once registration has closed.
Drivers who choose to withdraw from an event before the posted registration deadline may request a refund. Any processing or transaction fees charged by the payment provider may be deducted from the refund.
Once registration closes, no refunds will be issued for a driver's inability to participate, including but not limited to:
- Scheduling conflicts
- Internet or equipment problems
- Failure to join the race server on time
- Failure to meet event requirements
- Missing qualifying, heats, or other scheduled sessions
- Personal emergencies or other last-minute withdrawals
Failure to Qualify
Entry fees are not refundable if a driver fails to qualify for the A-Main, B-Main, feature event, or any other portion of the event.
Payment guarantees the driver an opportunity to participate in the event under the posted format. It does not guarantee a starting position in the feature.
Disqualifications & Penalties
No refunds will be issued to a driver who is removed, disqualified, suspended, or otherwise prevented from competing because of:
- Violating Spring Madness rules
- Unsportsmanlike conduct
- Intentional wrecking
- Failure to follow Race Control
- Providing false registration information
- Violating iRacing rules or sporting regulations
Connection & Equipment Issues
Spring Madness is not responsible for internet connection problems, computer failures, hardware problems, iRacing service interruptions affecting an individual driver, or other technical issues outside of our control.
These situations will not normally qualify for a refund.
Event Cancellation
If Spring Madness completely cancels an event and the event is not rescheduled, drivers will receive a refund of their event entry fee.
Transaction or processing fees charged by third-party payment providers may be non-refundable.
Event Rescheduling
If an event must be postponed or rescheduled, all existing registrations will automatically transfer to the new event date.
If a registered driver cannot attend the rescheduled date, Spring Madness may offer a refund or event credit at its discretion.
Server or Widespread Technical Problems
If a major iRacing outage, server failure, or other widespread technical issue prevents the event from being completed, Spring Madness reserves the right to:
- Restart the event
- Resume the event at a later time
- Reschedule the event
- Issue event credit
- Issue refunds when appropriate
The decision will be based on how much of the event was completed and the circumstances surrounding the interruption.
Repeat Refund Requests for the Same Event
If a driver is approved for a refund for a specific Spring Madness event, they are still permitted to register again for that same event as long as registration remains open.
However, if that driver re-registers for the same event and later requests another refund for that same event, the second refund request will be automatically denied.
Drivers should only re-register for an event if they are reasonably confident they will be able to participate.
This rule does not apply if Spring Madness later cancels the event and does not reschedule it.
Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you accidentally submit the same entry payment more than once, contact Spring Madness as soon as possible. Verified duplicate payments will be refunded.
A refund issued for a verified duplicate payment will not count as a refund request under the Repeat Refund Requests for the Same Event policy.
Entry Transfers
Entry fees may not be sold or transferred to another driver without prior approval from Spring Madness.
Any approved transfer must be completed before the applicable registration or event deadline.
Prize Money
Refund requests do not affect legitimate prize money earned during a completed event.
Drivers who are later disqualified for a rules violation may forfeit any associated prize money in accordance with Spring Madness event rules.
Refund Requests
All refund requests must be submitted directly to Spring Madness at keagothelunatic@gmail.com and include:
- Driver's name
- iRacing name
- Event name
- Payment information
- Reason for the refund request
Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.
Final Decisions
Spring Madness reserves the right to review unusual circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
All refund, credit, transfer, and eligibility decisions made by Spring Madness Event Administration are final.
By submitting payment for a Spring Madness Sim Racing event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
